a. Border Roads Organisation a Government of India undertaking constructs and maintains roads in the bordering areas of the country. They have given access to remote areas of the country.
b. We may give the following examples of Border roads Himank in the Nubra valley, ladakh
c. Further, it also took Project Udayak at Doomdooma, Assam
d. We may give examples of other projects like Project Arunank at Naharlagun (Itanagar), Arunachal Pradesh
e. Project Brahmankat Ranaghat, East Siang Dirstict, in the state of Arunachal Pradesh
f. Project Dantak at Samdrup Jongkar in Eastern Bhutan. All these projects involved the construction of roads, infrastructure in the above mentioned districts
g. We may also give example of Roads undertaken the desert region of Rajasthan , Gujarat.
h. Further we may give example of Construction of Rohtang tunnel with a view to provide to all weather road to Leh and Lahaul and Spiti .
i. Project Shivalik , which involved the construction of road in Uttrahakand
j. Roads of Sonamarg-Kargil-Leh, Leh-Karu -Upshi-Loma-Dungti-Chusul.
k. Karu-Tangtse-Chusul, Dugti-Demchok and Tangtse-Lukung-Phobrang area.
