Give reason for the following statement: Mumbai more humid than Delhi.

Ans. Mumbai lies in the coastal region, that means it is nearer to the sea whereas Delhi lies in the interior of the country. We know that places near the coast are more humid than places away from the coast. Since Mumbai is located nearer to the sea, it receives humid winds (moisture-laden) from the sea. The breeze from the sea is the reason why Mumbai has more humidity. Thus, Delhi has less humidity than Mumbai.
