Velocity of a rocket increases as it moves forward
Dear student,
In Rocket the exhaustion of gases from its back , exerts a opposite and equal magnitude force on the rocket. Hence the acceleration due to the force on rocket is there and because of which velocity increases in the direction opposite to the direction of exhaust gases. Hence we can say as the velocity of rocket increases if it is in the direction of acceleration.
