Give reasons:
Neurotronsmitters are broken down by an enzyme just after passing an impulse from one neurone to the other.

Dear student,

The axon terminal produces neurotransmitters that transmit the impulse from the presynaptic neuron to the postsynaptic neuron.

These neurotransmitters are chemical substances which are broken down by the enzymes after their purpose is fulfilled. If the neurotransmitters are not broken down, they would cause constant stimulation as impulse would not end, and may cause problems such as muscle fatigue in the body.
