Dear student
Please find your answer below to the asked query:

Amoeba, White Blood cells (WBCs) are examples of cell which can change their shape.
  • White blood cells have different shapes, depending on their function.
  • WBCs have the ability to change their shape that enables them to penetrate into the walls of blood vessels and between other cells. Also it helps them to engulf the foreign particle or pathogen by extending the cell membrane around that pathogen or foreign particles.
  • Various types of white blood cells present. Their five types include neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. They are distinguished by their size, the nature of their cytoplasm, the shape of their nucleus and their staining characteristics.

Similarly amoeba can change its shape in order to engulf food.
