 Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti​ was one of the famous sufi saints who settled a Ajmer and mixed freely with all classes of Hindus and Muslims.He set up his Dargah at Ajmer which became a place of pilgrimage for both the Muslims and Hindus.Devotees from all over the world come to offer prayers at his tomb.His voluntary service and preachings attracted many people to come to Ajmer. In this way Ajmer became a popular place of pilgrimage.
