it is a story about a king, who was very calm.he ordered his men to construct an arch(gate) in his honour which would cover the major road.the workmen started their work to build a gate.the king went to the road to intruct the viewers.when he reached under the gate, he lost his crown as the arch was built very low.a sort of anger covered his calm face (became angry).and the king said "this is a disgrace" (its a crime)it is the fault of buliders, so they must be hanged. the punishment was declared by the king to hang the guilty.the rope and gallows were arranged. and the people of kingdom were so excited to see such a type of punishment, a crowd gathered over the king's place.the cheif of builders was called upon.he told king that it was the workmen's fault.king said call the workmen.workmen said it was the fault of masons (who made the bricks) as the bricks were made of wrong size.king called the masons.masons stood in front of the king quivering (shaking with fear)they said it was the fault of architect.king called the architect.architect said that it was not his fault. if someone has to be hanged than it is king.as king gave orders to architect to build a new arch.king bacame more angry.he wanted some suggestions from a clever person who could say the name of the person who should be hanged.the wisest person of the kingdom was brought by the king's men.he was so old, that he could not see and walk properly.the man said that the guilty should be puished.he said the guilty was the arch, it should be hanged.suddenly, a person of the kingdom suggested king, that it would be shame for the people who would hand the thing which touched the majesty's head.king agreed with the statement.the crowd started muttering. by this, king decided to hang someone immidiately.the noose(to which the rope was tied, a knot) was set up at some height.every person was measured one by one, and at last they found a man who could rech the height.the person was the king himself.and hence, the king was hanged by his own kingdom.the ministers were very happy, as they found someone to be hanged immidiately and also because the king was dead.the ministers said the next person who will pass the gate will suggest the new king.there was a man passed by the gate, and stopped by the guards.the suggestion was taken by the man.he said melon should be the new king.the melon was the answer to every question asked to him. (he liked the melons a lot).the ministers crowned a melon and declared it as their new king.this was happened many years ago.
