Amniocentesis is the process by which the sex of the foetus and congenital disorder is detected. In these technique the amniotic fluid from the females body and some skin cells of the foetus is taken for the diagnostic process. these helps the parents to diagnose the the chromosomal pattern of the growing foetus and if the foetus is diagnosed with non-curable chromosomal disease then the parents go for abortion.
