?Let there be a rectangle whose length is 10 cm and breadth is 8 cm.
Area of rectangle = L*B
= 10*8
= 80 sq cm
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)
= 2(10+8)
= 2*18 = 36 cm

Now,?
Let there be another rectangle whose length is 20 cm and breadth is 4 cm.
Area = 20*4
= 80 sq cm
Perimeter = 2(20+4)
= 2*24
= 48 cm
So, in the above examples, area does not increase when the perimeter increases.?

CASE 1
LENGTH OF RECTANGLE = 6 cm
BREADTH OF THAT RECTANGLE = 4 cm
THEN, PERIMETER = 2*10 = 20 cm
& AREA = 6*4 = 24 cm
CASE 2
LENGTH OF RECTANGLE = 20 cm
BREADTH OF RECTANGLE = 1 cm
THEN, PERIMETER = 2*21 = 42 cm
& AREA = 20*1 = 20 cm
