Giving an example explain the various levels of a product

Dear Student,
Product is anything that can meet a need or want.
The levels of product are mentioned below:
1.Core Benefit: It is the fundamental need or want that the customer satisfies when they buy a product.for example-the core benefit of coca cola is to quench thirst
2.Generic Product: the basic version of the product with only those features necessary for it to function. In our coca cola example generic product means black, fizzy sweetened carbonated drink.
3.Expected Product: It is the set of features that the customer expects when they buy a product.Ex- the customer expects the coca cola bottle to be cold.if this is not provided customer's demand and need will not be met.
4.Augmented Product: This refers to any extra feature or quality that differentiate it from it's competitors. For Eg- Coca cola offers a great taste but with zero calories.
5.Potential Product: this includes all the augmentations and transformations that the product will undergo in future.Eg: To continue delight in customers coca cola may introduce competitions or lucky draws which may result in celebrity experiences etc.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
