Gravitation Question in vector form

Dear Student,

Magnitude of gravitational force due to each of the 2 masses m on third mass is
F = G×m×ma2 = G×m2a2Both the forces are attractive and have angle of 60o between them     ( angle between sides of equilateral triangle = 60o)Magnitude of resultant of these 2 forces will be =F2+F2 +2F2cos60o=F2+F2 +2F2×12= 3 F=3 G×m2a2 unitDirection of this force will be along median of triangle directed away from mass on which force is calculated toward side opposite to that mass,
Regards
