Gulliver gives a detailed account of food served to him . give sme details ???

Gulliver's travels is full of instances when Gulliver is made to taste exotic food, even if the food is not exotic, the manner in which he is served defines the very nature of the place he visits. There are several incidents to show this:
- Lilliput: Gulliver's sheer size and captive state need some special arrangements for the food to be served to him. He is served several baskets full of meat which he has no trouble devouring along with three loaves of bread at a time and two hogsheads full of wine.
-At Brobdingrag, Gulliver is served some crumbled bread along with a drink that tastes like cider which were mere chunks of the huge portion served at the farmer's house.
- At Laputa, Gulliver is served food that is cut into geometrical shapes which indicates Laputians' obsession with mathematical patterns.
- In the land of Houyhnhnms, Gulliver at first has trouble explaining his diet. He is offered a root, ass's flesh and hay with oats until he explains that neither is edible and after a brief explanation, finally given milk.

There are several such instances where different foods are offered to him in the most peculiar manner.
