Gulliver got married to Mary Burton quite early on in the novel but we seldom see him spending time at home with his wife. She even expresses her desire for him not to go back to see but he leaves anyway. Gulliver, upon his return in the final part of the novel, becomes thoroughly disgusted with humanity at large.
