gulliver says to glumdalclitch,i owe my preservation in that country-would be guilty of ingratitude, if i omitted this honourable mention of her care.describe what the little nurse did for him.why does gulliver say,she was the innocent but unhappy instrument of her disgrace

Glumdalclitch was the farmer's daughter who took care of Gulliver and treated him almost like a doll. A skilled seamstress, she made clothes for him, and made sure that he was safe and comfortable. Gulliver's initial survival in Brobdingnag was possible only due to her kindness, that is why he gave her the name Glumdalclitch, which literally translates to 'Little nurse' in the Brobdingnagian language. He calls himself the instrument of her disgrace for he knows that he is nature's anomaly in Brobdingnag, which was basically the land of giants. Glumdalclitch possessing Gulliver would only get her unwanted attention, and ridicule, hence he was worried about it.
