Gulliver was a true patriot. Discuss.

Swift has portrayed Gulliver as a patriot character. His conversations with various emperors describe England in a very glorious light. He describes the culture, manners and court culture with love and pride. However, his patriotism is only a tool to produce satire.  For instance, The Brobdingnagian King is shocked at knowing about the violence done by the English men. He is astonished to know that midget people, like Gulliver, are cunning and crafty at planning attacks and capturing the lands.
