Dear Student,
In the chapter 'A House Is Not A Home', after their house caught fire, Zan’s mother didn't get scared and acted bravely. In spite of the rising flames, she ran inside and rescued his father's last remaining memories. She was able to save their old photographs, letters and some important documents. She was ultimately saved by the fireman.
