Hari Singh didn?t board the express and returned to Anil. Why did he return? On what values does this incidence put light on? 8 marker
The thief's story, Footprints without feet

Dear student
Hari Singh returned to his employer out of guilt. He felt guilty about robbing Anil  who according to him would be sad about the theft. He did not have an inner peace of having made money from the robbery. He returned the money because he now had a positive attitude and realised his mistake. This incident puts light on the value of kindness. It was Anil's kindness that compelled Hari to return as a changed man. It was the power of kindness that made a thief, a better man. True kindness and benevolence wins everyone's heart.
Hope this helps!
