Motion of a child on a swing or a person playing tabla is Periodic motion.

The motion of a swing as well as the motion of the hands of the tabla player repeats itself at a certain time interval. Therefore, it has periodic motion. Hence, a child on a swing and a tabla being played is said to have periodic motion.
