Hello... I was taking the English test on chapter - Tense. There were two questions for which the answers provided were not correct hence wanted to re verify

1) which alternative correctly classifies the given statements :

- Present continuous tense is used to describe the actions or events going on in the present

- It is also used for describing daily actions or events

My answer was that the 1st option is correct and second option is incorrect - however I was marked wrong for this alternative

2) Which of the following statements is incorrect

There were two statements which were incorrect viz

- The who are singing tonight

- you are to be singing tonight

However only the last one was marked as the incorrect statement

Please guide
