Here, we got x = 0 by shifting all the terms except x, and got x = 2 by shifting all terms except (2-x).
Fine till here.
I want to ask what value we will get if we shift x and (2-x) both to the  RHS, i.e., how we'll solve  e - 2 x   = 0 to get value of x ?!
Kindly solve.

Dear student,

We have, dydx=0xe-x2-x=0which means either xe-x=0 or 2-x=0 xe-x=0 x×1ex=0              --[using a-m=1am]x=0×exx=0when  2-x=0x=2We cannot take both the terms x and 2-x to the right sides as they are two terms we can compare it with 0 one by one.
