Hi experts..ch the kingdom.of.fuls ....ques- why it took long to.persuade guru to become the king of the kingdom? ..pls ans in detail

Dear Student, 

The guru was sceptical about living in the kingdom. He knew that the people living in the kingdom are fools, and therefore, they cannot be trusted to behave responsibly. Their unpredictability made them dangerous. Thus, he did not want to become the king and live in the Kingdom of Fools. Eventually,  when people agreed to amend old laws, the guru agreed to become the king.
