​please answer my doubt mam ...

1) actually in cell wall it was said that it protects against mechanical stress . what does 'mechanical stress' mean ?

2) does mitochondria cells have something like nucleus ? we've seen matrix thats similar to cytoplasm and has cell boundary does this has nucleus like thing mam ?
