High fever, loss of appetite, stomach pain and constipation are some of the symptoms scene in a patient. How could the doctor confirm that the patient is suffering from typhoid and not amoebiasis ?

Dear student,
The disease is Typhoid which shows the symptoms of high fever, stomach pain, and constipation but no blood clots in the stools.
It is caused by the pathogen known as Salmonella typhi which is a bacteria.
The diagnostic test for this disease is the Widal test which detects the presence of the bacteria Salmonella in the blood of the patient.
