 मित्र अनुच्छेद में जीवन की सच्चाई के बारे में बताया गया है।  बच्चे को सबसे अधिक उसके मां-बाप प्यार करते हैं।  बच्चे की खुशी के लिए मां-बाप अपनी खुशियों को कुर्बान कर देते हैं। बच्चे का भविष्य बनाने के लिए अपना वर्तमान बिगाड़ लेते हैं। मगर आजकल के बच्चे पैसा और प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त करने के लिए अपने मां बाप को आदर और सम्मान नहीं देते हैं।  कुछ तो ऐसे बच्चे हैं जो अपने मां-बाप को वृद्ध आश्रम में छोड़ आते हैं।
