The five R's are refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle.
Firstly we should refuse to buy wasteful or non-recyclable products. This will help us to prevent degradation in the first hand only. However, always it is not possible. So, in case we have to buy/use products like plastics, which are non recyclable, we should try to reduce their usage. We can use paper cups, steel , glass containers, paper bags, in place of plastic items. These are reusable as well as repurposeful. In the last step, we should always try to recycle our products so that we dump minimum, and hence prevent the problem of degradation and save our environment.
