how are nervous tissue protected ?

Neuroglia provide protection to neurons in the nervous system. They are found throughout the nervous system. Some of the examples are astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, microglia, ependymal cells, neurolemmocytes (Schwann Cells) and satellite cells.
