Beans- It contains isoflavones and phytosterols, which are cancer fighting chemicals. They are high in carbohydarte, protein,vitamins and mierals and are low in fat.
Some of the examples of beans include- baked beans, runner beans, broad beans (fava beans), kidney beans, butter beans (Lima beans), etc.
Peas- They are an excellent source of molybdenum. Also they are a very good source of dietary fiber and a good source of manganese, copper, protein, folate, vitamin B1, phosphorus, vitamin B5, and potassium.
