The best way is to learn by writing and practicing them.

Learn and write the names and chemical symbols of all the elements for every group three to four times and you will be thorough with them. That way, you will remember more clearly and not end up getting confused. The more you practice, the more confident you become.

Start with the s-block elements first. Then try to learn the p-block elements groupwise. The transition metals and inner transition metals are not a part of your course and will be taught to you in grade XII, still if you want to learn them, it would be best if you learn each series separately.

There are a few ways to learn the periodic tablethe easiest one that i found is to recite the periodic table a few times to remember it or to make a sentence or story eg. Hannah HEld LIttle BEer Because Carl Never........ and so onHydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, and so on.Make a sentence using the symbols of the atoms, making them easier to learn.The other way i found was easy was to make flashcards. Have the name of the element on one side with the symbol on the other. Practice the flashcards as many times as you can.
