It is very easy to identify a
subject and a predicate When one asks a question about someone, the
answer to that becomes the subject of the sentence and the person
or thing with regard to whom it has been asked becomes the
subject
Whenever we frame a sentence:

We name a person or a thing which
becomes the subject of the sentence; while

We say something about that person
or thing which becomes the predicate

The subject of a sentence usually
comes before the predicate
