how can it be concerned that it is a predicate or a subject

It is very easy to identify a subject and a predicate. When one asks a question about someone, the answer to that becomes the subject of the sentence and the person or thing with regard to whom it has been asked becomes the subject.

Whenever we frame a sentence:

  • We name a person or a thing which becomes the subject of the sentence; while

  • We say something about that person or thing which becomes the predicate.

The subject of a sentence usually comes before the predicate.
