how can its answer be 6 .. when 10 has the highest frequency .? give reasons

Dear student,

At times it may happen that we get different answers when we calculate mode using inspection method and by using grouping method. This is because while in inspection method only the frequency of a particular class decides the mode, on the other hand, in grouping method we consider the frequencies of a group of classes.
Grouping method helps in analysing the concentration of data around a particular class or a group of class. For instance, in the given data majority if the data is concentrated along the value 6. Hence, it is the mode.
