How can political parties be formed?

Dear Student,

a.A political party is an organised group of people  having common ideology whose main aim to contest in elections, come to power and retain power.
b. It seeks to directly control or form the government. 

c. A party in order to organise itself  must ensure the following:

i. Must have a clear cut ideology, programme and policies.

ii. A group aspiring to form  a party must have active members who are strongly associated with it.
iii. Mass following  where people  must show affiliation to a particular party and its ideology
iv. Most importantly a strong leader to lead the party, who must have a charismatic personality, must be a great orator.
v. A leader must be a visionary , with clear credentials and integrity.
vi. A party must represent a change and its programmes.
vii. It must get itself registered with Election Commission.
viii. A registered party gets benefits in terms of allotment of symbols and later can also be given a status of  a State or national party.
