How can we calculate the no. of sterioisomers for glucose ?

$$\begin{gathered} The formula for computing steroisomers, \\ = 2^n \\ where n\to number od chiral centers \end{gathered}$$

For the glucose molecule contains 6 carbon atom out of that 4 carbons are attached to different elements in the middle position hence n= 4 yields the stereoisomers as expressed below,

$2^n=2^4=16$

Hence total number of stereoisomers for glucose molecule = 16
