how can we change noun to adjective

Dear Student,

There is no standard rule to change a noun into an adjective. However, there are certain suffixes such as -ous, -ly, -ful, -al that can be added to a noun for converting it into an adjective.

Eg : disaster (Noun) - disastrous (Adjective)
        class (Noun) - classy (Adjective)
        power(Noun)- powerful (Adjective )
         tragedy (Noun) - tragic (Adjective)
         function (Noun) - functional (Adjective)
