How can we write electronic configuration of elements in the form 2, 8, 18.. ?!..
Kindly write the same for Br, Ti, Fe, Zn.
[Kindly answer all of these here only, as they are so short.]

Dear student

In the first sub-shell only 1s- orbital is present so it has only 2 electrons. In 2nd sub-shell, 2s and 2p- orbitals are present so the total electron will be 2+6 = 8 ( 2 from s-orbital and 6 from p-orbital ). In 3rd subshell, 3s, 3p, and 3d- orbitals are present so the total electron will be 2+6+18 = 18(   2 from s-orbital, 6 from p-orbital and 10 from d-orbital). in the 4th subshell, 4s, 4p,4d and 4f orbitals are present so total electrons will be 2+6+10+14 = 32 and so on.
                                                                  subshell    1st 2nd 3rd 4th
Br, atomic no. is 35 and electronic configuration is: 2    8      18   7
Ti, atomic no. is 22 and electronic configuration is: 2     8     10    2
Fe, atomic no. is 26 and electronic configuration is: 2    8     14    2
Zn, atomic no. is 30 and electronic configuration is: 2    8     18    2
