canterville chase was definietly haunted. lord canterville,the owner of the house and his family refused to stay in it as his wife could not sleep bcoz she heard mysterious voices coming from library and the corridors at night. the dowager duchess of bolton had felt some skeleton hands on her shoulder. moreover,there was a persistent blood stain in the sitting room that made its appperance, despite being cleaned.
