At Mehrgarh, it was found that when people died, their relatives and friends paid respect to them. People looked after them, and believed that there is some form of life after death. Several burial sites have been found at Mehrgarh. In one instance, the dead person was buried with goats, which were probably meant to serve as food in the next world. This proved that that people believed in life after death.
