How did Glenmie progress into performing solo?

Glennie never gave up on music even after finding out that she was deaf. Ron Forbes recognised the potential in her and supported her. He told her to feel the music and not listen it, which she practised doing and eventually was able to feel the notes through different parts of her body. She became the master of a thousand instruments. She joined the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, after joining an orchestra and even won the 'Soloist of the year' award for his the amazing solo performances she gave on stage in many countries.
