how did maria sharapova overcome the challenges humiliation and insult to become a number one in women's tennis

Dear Student,

Maria Sharapova overcame the challenges, humiliation and insult through her hard work and determination. Her journey towards success is motivating to us as she worked hard to achieve the number one position. It was even before her tenth birthday that she was packed off to train in the United States. That trip to Florida with her father Yuri launched her on the path to success and stardom. She had to face a heart-wrenching two-year separation from her mother Yelena as she was compelled to stay back in Siberia because of visa restrictions. It became an important lesson for her that tennis excellence would only come at a price. Also, during the training, other pupils were not cooperative with her. However, this did not depress her. In fact, she became determined to put her best. She practised meticulously with full conviction to achieve her dreams and was successful in the end.
