how did you like the poem the ant and the cricket and what does it teach you

The poem is quite interesting. I enjoyed reading the poem because it is a simple read, and has very profound meaning hidden in it.
The poem "ant and the cricket, gives one the moral that one should save for the future, and not take the present lightly. It is always best to utilize the present time practically, to have a better future. For instance, if a person who is earning money does not save any money for the future, he might not have a very good future. Similarly during the summer season the cricket like the ants should have saved food, and not wasted it's time singing. If it had saved food in the summer, then in the winter he would not have been hungry, and would have lived off the food it had saved during the summer.
