How did Zitkala-Sa compare her own dress with that of the other girls?

Dear Student,

When Zitkala-Sa went for breakfast, she saw the Indian girls in stiff shoes and closely clinging shoes. The small girls wore sleeved aprons and shingled hair. Zitkala wore soft moccasins but her blanket was taken away from her. She felt that the Indian girls were more immodestly dressed than her in their tightly fitting clothes.

Regards.
