1. IT IS BECAUSE THE LIFE SITUATIONS OF PERSONS ARE DIFFERENT.
2. PEOPLE SEEK THINGS THAT ARE MOST IMPORTANT FOR THEM OR THAT WHICH CAN FULFIL THEIR ASPIRATIONS.
3.EXAMPLE- THE DEVELOPMENTAL GOALS OF A BOY FROM A RICH URBAN FAMILY WOULD BE TO GET ADMISSION IN A REPUTED COLLEGE, WHEREAS THE DEVELOPMENTAL GOALS OF A GIRL FROM A RICH URBAN FAMILY WOULD BE TO GET AS MUCH FREEDOM AS HER BROTHER.

Different people have different developmental goals according to their needs.

For example:If a family from poor background gets a new stove in their kitchen, they are very happy and satisfied. But the family from rich background needs their whole kitchen to be changed as they have much money.
