contraceptive action?
Cu 7 and Multiload 375 are Cu releasing type of IUDs and Progestasert and LNG-20 is Hormonal releasing type of IUDs. As we know that in Cu releasing type, CU is released which supresses the motility of sperm and fertility capacity of sperm {i.e., it works in sperm.}. While, in Hormonal releasing type, some hormones are released by tht IUDs which makes the uterus unsuitable for welcoming the zygote {i.e., it works in uterus}.
