How do genital herpes and warts differ in appearance?
Dear student,
Genital warts are usually caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) around the genital organs. These warts appear often flesh-colored, raised, and cauliflower-like small bumps.
The herpes simplex virus type 1 causes cold sores and fever blisters near or around the mouth. The herpes simplex virus type 2 can also cause genital blisters. These blisters may turn into painful ulcers after breaking.
