how do humans reproduce? I mean how sperm reaches the egg?

Fertilization is the process of fusion of the male gamete (sperm) with the female gamete (egg) resulting in the formation of zygote which further develops to form the fetus. During the intercourse, sperm is ejaculated from the male reproductive tract system in the female reproductive tract. Sperm move through the uterus into the fallopian tube where it fuses with the egg present in the tube and results in the formation of zygote which further develops to form the fetus. Changes occur in the fertilized egg cell such that no other sperm can fuse with it.
