how do optical fibers transmit light without absorption? mention one practical application of optical fibers.

Total internal reflection takes place inside the optical fiber. In total internal reflection, there is 100 % reflection of light and  there is no absorption of light.

Optical fiber is used in transmitting signals in the form of light over along distance without any loss.

Optical fibres are made of a material which has a low critical angle. So wgen light travels through an optical fibre, total internal reflection takes place easily. In total internal reflection, there is 100% reflection of light and so there is no absorption of light energy. Thus, light travels through an optical fibre due to multiple total nternal reflections and so there is no absorption of light.

Optical fibres are used for the transmission of light from one place to the other.
