how do the following conditions affect transpiration?
1) still air
2) dry air
3) insufficient absorption of water by the roots

Dear student.

1.  In still air, the rate of transpiration is low.
2. The rate of transpiration is reduced in humid air and increases proportionately in dry air.
3. Rate of transpiration will decrease if there is insufficient absorption of water by the roots.

Regards.
