How do we divide on number line
Dear Student,
Division on the number line can be performed by jumping on the number line. For example, if we have to find the result of 6 ÷ 2 on the number line, we proceed as:
6 ÷ 2 =
So, three jumps have been made starting from 0 to 6.
Hence, 6 ÷ 2 = 3
