How does an ink dropper work?

In an ink dropper, when we press the dropper and hold it, low pressure is created inside the dropper. As we release the dropper, the ink bottle which is at a relatively high pressure, causes the ink to flow from high pressure region in the bottle to a low pressure region inside the dropper.
