How does Mr Lamb try to make Derry underatand the meaning of life after hearing from Derry his burned face and his present state of mind ?

Mr. lamb told Derry about the behaviour of people  towards the handicapped people derry was attracted by mr lamb and his positive thinking about life.he told him about the difficulty faced in life & how to sustain life.he understand derry  to do his work inspite of hearing any negative comments.Mr lamb encourages Derry and says him not to feel inferior.there are people worst than him.thus derry outlook towards himself and life had changed.he was filled with confidence
