how does photographic plate getaffected by alpha,beta and gamma rays ?

Alpha rays affect photographic plate and produce luminescence when they strike zinc sulphide screen.

Like alpha rays, beta rays affect a photographic plate and the effect is much higher. Its effect on the zinc sulphide screen is less because of its low kinetic energy.

Gamma rays have very little effect on the photographic plate or zinc sulphide screen.
